The Diploma in Education - Special Education (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities), abbreviated as D.Ed.Spl.Ed.(IDD), is a specialized teacher training program regulated by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) to prepare educators for children with intellectual and developmental challenges.
The intake capacity of the course is 35 seats. The course prepares the students to work as special Educator in Special School, in Special class situation in regular schools and also to work in integrated set up in regular schools.
